When I was young, I loved Star Wars and the idea of escaping the Earth to Mars or another galaxy.
To keep global warming to no more than 1.5°C, emissions need to be reduced by 45% by 2030 and reach net zero by 2050.
When I get older, I realize that saving the earth and preventing another disaster like Noah's Ark is the mission of our generation!
To fight climate change, we must reduce emissions and expand renewable energy sources like solar and wind. But how do we supply power without sun or wind?
The answer is batteries!
Since high school, I've developed a strong interest in batteries. Lithium-ion batteries work well for cars and electronics, while zinc-ion batteries are more suitable for home and stationary power. A battery management system is essential for safety, and recycling is crucial to minimize their environmental impact.
Through online classes and lab training in these topics, I've become a true 'battery’ girl. My dream is to invent wearable batteries, bacteria-powered batteries, transparent batteries, and more..
